Ears 360 created the Silence, a CE-certified soft-silicone earplug that secures itself by tucking a retractable spiral into the ear's helix rather than seating deep in the canal. It delivers 24 dB SNR to EN 352-2:2020 with a measured peak attenuation of 29.9 dB in the frequencies where snoring and speech sit. The spiral sits flat so the plug reads low-profile against the head.
The product offers three silicone tip diameters—9.9 mm, 11.9 mm and 12.9 mm—and a Swim & Work Kit that uses triple-flange tips to raise attenuation to about 29 dB. The spiral footprint measures 18.44 by 15.49 mm, and the body is IPX7 waterproof. Replaceable tips, a carry case and colorways in Black and Pink are part of the lineup.
Because one Silence replaces disposables, it emphasizes longevity through a replaceable-tip system and compact packaging. The low-profile fit makes side-sleeping comfortable while retaining concert- and commute-ready protection. Its certified performance and durable design position it as a reusable alternative to foam plugs.

Why This Trend Is Growing
- Helix-anchored Wearables
- Ear-based products using outer-ear geometry can create stable, low-profile fits without relying on deep canal insertion, opening space for comfort-led hearing protection and audio-adjacent devices.
- Reusable Noise Protection
- Durable silicone designs with replaceable tips are reframing disposable earplugs as longer-life personal protection products with stronger sustainability and premium positioning.
- Sleep-friendly Acoustics
- Low-profile attenuation products built for side-sleeping are expanding the sleep wellness market beyond masks and sound machines into ergonomic in-ear protection.
Industries Being Reshaped
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Certified compact ear protection with customizable fittings can broaden PPE adoption in workplaces where comfort, reusability and compliance are persistent barriers.
- Sleep Wellness
- Noise-reducing products optimized for bed comfort represent a growing intersection between acoustic engineering and consumer sleep health solutions.
- Outdoor and Recreation
- Waterproof, reusable earplugs with adaptable tips create crossover potential for swimming, commuting, concerts and travel through one modular accessory platform.
