While beanbag chairs have their benefits, but they're rarely as comfortable as they look due to a consistent lack of ergonomic support. The Spin Chair by Jesper Legaard Jensen satisfies many of the appealing features of such a casual seating object, yet it does so with a firm structure and a tasteful appearance that its doughy counterparts cannot boast.
Thanks to its successful fusion of playful and practical elements, this chic thermoformed polycarbonate perch won its designer an A' Design Award in the furniture category. It takes a flaring concave form that comes to a protruding point in the back. This allows it to swivel easily on the floor so that its sitter can effortlessly change to his direction. Six molded foam pillows pad the incurvate Spin Chair, dressing it like flower petals with vividly patterned upholstery.
