The McDonald's Special Edition Gold Sauce has been introduced by the brand on the heels of its revived Snack Wraps and McCrispy chicken sandwich for fans to try out this fall. The sauce will make its debut at participating locations starting September 3, 2025 and features a North Carolina-style barbecue sauce recipe that showcases honey, smoke and mustard. The sauce was developed specifically for pairing with chicken and will be available for ordering alongside McCrispy Stripes or in your choice of wrap or sandwich.

The McDonald's Special Edition Gold Sauce is a limited time offering that's being launched to help further showcase the various chicken-based menu items as the brand responds to consumer demands for variety.
