Tiny House Builders, a small living practice based in New Zealand, unveiled a phenomenal new offering in the form of the Pohutukawa, a surprisingly spacious tiny house that allows inhabitants to live with abundant comfort in a relatively compact space.
This spacious tiny house measures in at three meters wide and 7.5 meters long for an interior space figure of 33 square meters. However, the home's intelligent layout and high ceilings allow it to accommodate a veritable plethora of amenities, including a refrigerator and freezer, a fully equipped kitchen even outfitted with a dishwasher, two mezzanines and other luxuries.
When tiny living first emerged on the horizon, it was envisioned as a way for people to occupy compact spaces while being willing to compromise on various comforts. However, the Pohutukawa is looking to well and truly prove that a tiny space doesn't have to be incompatible with the enjoyment of creature comforts.
