When Los Angeles-based company SOVRN teamed up with Palo Alto-type artists, they created the Skateboard Decks Artist Collection. Their approach to the west coast lifestyle is visually aesthetic and miles different than the rest. SOVRN took a serious approach to handing over its skate deck real estate to four Californian artists.
For the latest collection, Jack Vanzet, Jesse Draxler, Chris Golden and Ben Roth have all committed a selection of designs, each one showcasing their individual style. The boards are named Dispel, Chimera, Hack and Void and feature vibrant brush strokes, marble details and gospel photography. The range of rainbow colored skateboards by SOVRN speak to the laid back and relaxed culture of the west coast.
These limited-edition boards were made to bridge the medium between high quality design and skateboarding.
