Barren Desert Editorials

The Purple Fashion South of Nowhere Photoshoot Features Vapid Space

The Purple Fashion South of Nowhere editorial is a part of the magazine's Spring/Summer 2013 edition. Model Louise Grinberg posed delicately before the barren backdrop as she sprawled out amid the desert sand beds.

Stylist Sheila Single countered the largely deserted backdrop with over the top apparel. She did so with see through gowns, patterned dresses, aquamarine tops and billowing pants, a perfect juxtaposition with the muted beige backdrop. Capturing this unusual display of fashion was photographer Olivier Zahm who chose to focus as much on Grinberg as he did on the structures and natural landscapes. The latter came of his exclusive images of the surrounding area, adding artistic elements to this Purple Fashion issue.
