Local frozen burrito brand Sous Casa is expected to launch its meat-based products at new retailers this year, exposing iconic items like the 'Brrreakfast' sausage burritos, 'Frollo' verse burritos with chicken, and 'Chorfreezo' burritos to new audiences. Under this new launch, Richmond consumers will be able to access Sous Casa's high-quality meals directly from their local grocers, enhancing accessibility and decreasing costs.
“The bigger conversation is about Whole Foods, Kroger’s, bigger chains,” said operations manager Lora Gess. “That’s an eventual conversation. Our model right now is lots of small.”
Sous Casa currently offers direct-to-consumer deliveries across Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield. The brand hopes that its meat-based grocery items will launch in spring 2025, around March or April.
