The Sour Fruit crisps are a series of free-from snack products that are formulated to satiate demand for fruit-based taste experiences with a convenient, textural profile.
The product comes in the Crunchy Freeze-Dried Mango Crisps and the Crunchy Freeze-Dried Dragon Fruit Crisps, which are each made with 100% whole fruit slices with no added sugar, preservatives, flavorings or concentrates in the mix. The high-fiber snacks maximize texture in a natural way and could also help to satisfy cravings for candy thanks to their naturally sweet composition.
Co-Founder Daniel Twiss commented on the Sour Fruit crisps saying, "When we were developing our freeze-dried fruit crisps, we wanted them to deliver the same satisfying crunch you expect from traditional crisps. A lot of the freeze-dried fruit we tried felt foamy or powdery and disappeared in your mouth, which just wasn’t satisfying enough. We wanted that unmistakable crisp like crunch from the first bite, followed by a burst of real fruit flavour.”
