Founder Miles Gotcher created Soov after working on a home remedy for his lifelong stomach issues from IBS. Gotcher commented on the inspiration behind the launch, stating: "Whenever my stomach was feeling off, my go-to was two ginger ales and some plain rice or bread. When I found out that my favorite ginger ales only had traces of ginger along with up to 50 grams of sugar, I set out to make a healthier alternative along with other ingredients that helped my stomach like chamomile and mint." After a few years of development and teaming up with food scientists, functional nutritionists, and beverage experts Soov was made.
