Sony finally released the long-awaited images from its Sony 4K Ultra HD TV shot by the Irazu Volcano in Costa Rica. The concept behind the shoot was to set off a floral volcano explosion, but instead of lava, the volcano would shoot out millions of vibrant flower petals.
Advertising firm McCann recruited the help of local residents of the nearby town to help collect over three and a half tonnes of flower petals for the shoot. The petals were launched across the town like a volcanic eruption. The streets, rivers and houses were covered in massively vibrant blankets of petals. The concept behind the ad campaign was to show the ability of the high-quality Sony 4K HD TV to clearly capture every single flower petal that fell.
