Oleg Lobykin’s Solaris art installation aims to deliver environmental awareness by representing the benefits of renewable energy and the significance of culture. The design is proposed for a site between Saadiyat Island and Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
Solaris consists of a total of 1,418 photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 45 MW, which is enough to provide energy for the site itself and also for commercial and residential buildings in the nearby areas.
