Etsy and Geostellar Partnered to Offer Solar Financing Options

Many people out there can't outright afford solar panels, so the new pilot program called 'Etsy Solar' is aimed at offering discounted prices and flexible solar financing plans.

'Etsy Solar' is the result of a partnership between Etsy and Geostellar to provide members of the Etsy community with access to eco energy options that are in line with their capabilities. The solar financing plans will be focused on making sustainable energy more approachable than in years past when only the affluent could afford the equipment.

The 'Etsy Solar' pilot program is set to start in Florida, West Virginia, New York and Utah with Etsy community members capable of getting a $2,000 discount on typical installations. The program helps to make solar energy more feasible for consumers and help make Etsy a brand more closely connected with sustainability.
