The So Much More to Experience Program Aims to Trigger Memories

'Autumn Leaves' recently teamed up with the Dallas-based nonprofit 'Music is Our Weapon' to launch the 'So Much More to Experience' program at SXSW. Autumn Leaves is a residential memory care provider that works to address the need of those with living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The organization's latest project involves using music to try and improve the lives of those with memory loss.

So Much More to Experience is a multifaceted musical program that aims to improve the cognitive function of those with memory loss. The program kicks of at SXSW, where the organization will host an event featuring performances from 12 international musicians. The showcase aims to raise awareness about how Autumn Leaves is using music-based care at its communities. Several of these musicians are also set to visit different Autumn Leaves communities in order to help residents build personalized playlists.
