"Candy is Dandy, But Liquor is Quicker" is the famous saying, but if you're looking for a buzz there is a new Snickers. Best eaten when frozen - Snickers will now also satisfy another buzz: the caffeine buzz. Snickers Charged has 60mg of caffeine and will be sold as the afternoon hit to keep you awake until five o'clock. The Snicker Charged also backs up the caffeine with 250 calories of sugar.

Implications - Caffeine consumption is definitely on the rise, with a 55% spike in 2006 alone. This trend is seeing manufacturers infusing caffeine into an array of products. I am not sure if this caffeine consumption trend will have cross-over into the food-infused world but there is alone one way to find out.
