Can Can-Inspired Sneakers

The Sneakerness Paris Red Low Tops Were Inspired by Moulin Rouge

Sneakerness Paris has created these glorious all-red Low Top sneakers, inspired by the infamous Moulin Rouge -- home of can-can dancers, flashy outfits or a lack thereof. Seeing this vision through was Dutch shoe company 'Filling Pieces' and French artist Tyrsa.

While French-themed, the premium leather is Italian, and tanned to a bold red hue to stand out from the crowd. The brand's names inside and on the shoe are written in the style of the flashing 'Moulin Rouge' sign.

With only 50 pairs set to release, Sneakerness Paris is using a similar marketing strategy to other athletic shoe companies. Like adidas and Nike, Sneakerness created limited-edition shoes to garner much of the public's attention by offering much fewer the chance to actually own them.
