Perfect for a 4th of July dessert, this s'mores cake requires no baking. Created by Sarah of the food blog The Sugar Hit, the No Bake S'mores Chocolate Crackle Cake has a "gooey, sticky, crunchy chocolate crackle base" that is described as being somewhat similar to Rice Krispies. It's also topped with a marshmallow frosting that has been scorched with a blowtorch.
The crackle cake base is a "melt-stir-press operation" that is extremely easy to make. You can even make your own marshmallow frosting with egg whites and sugar.
For a more Canadian take on the s'mores cake, you could also sub out the golden syrup for maple, use white chocolate instead and top with red berries for a truly appropriate Canada Day treat.
