For National Smoothie Day on June 21st, Vitamix announced its first-ever Smoothie of the Year. The 2022 iteration of this blended beverage was crafted to show off the best features of the premium blender brand using seasonal, functional and accessible ingredients.

The 2022 Smoothie of the Year is an Almond Yogurt, Peach and Banana Smoothie blend that's packed with flavor and nutritional benefits from ingredients like turmeric and ginger. This smoothie taps into research that supports the fact that consumers are "for even more complexity, diversity, nutrition and functionality from 'simple' fruit smoothies." While ingredients like peaches and bananas are high in fiber and probiotics, the blend boasts 11 grams of protein and plenty more functional benefits.
