The design team at 'Gamut Creative' were able to produce a masculine packaging concept for the 'Smokai' company's flavored meat-smoking woodchips.

This unique product required a bold packaging to represent the brand, attract consumers and boasts the vast variety of flavors. The design team used a masculine black package with smaller brightly colored labels to highlight different flavors. Black is not traditionally used in the edible packing industry, which allows these woodchips to stand out among competitors.

Additionally, the bursts of color ensure that each consumer can easily distinguish which flavor is best for their meat. Smokai creates a variety of meat-smoking woodchips to suit different cuts and species, which is easily distinguished by the labels, animal images and legible typography used on each package.
