The brand Nurugo is coming out with an app called 'SmartUV' that offers users unique insights into the state of their skin.

The app comes in the form of a camera that has UV technology and can be attached to the bottom of smartphones. When in use, the SmartUV camera reveals the UV light spectrum, which the naked eye cannot see, so that users are able to notice problems with their skin that they otherwise would not notice. The SmartUV reveals developing sunspots, age-related skin damage and can even reveal warning signs for dangerous skin problems such as melanoma. These features allow users to treat potential skin issues proactively. The camera also allows users to check the effectiveness of their sunscreen, and ensures that they do not miss any spots upon application.

The SmartUV would be an excellent device for people who take care of their skin, or for those who are at risk for various skin problems.
