The Beam is a brand new smart projector that somehow manages to stand out among the array of smart projectors increasingly available on the market. Part of the reason for this is the simple but extremely useful functionality of being pluggable into a regular power outlet or into a light socket, making it easy to use in a wide variety of settings.

The designers of the Beam smart projector intelligently left one side of the projector slightly flat, allowing users to place the projector on a flat surface, although this requires the use of a traditional power cable.

The Beam is currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign. A pledge of $399 will get you set up with one of these smart projectors, which by the way boasts added versatility in that it runs Android but its app will also be available on iOS. This sort of flexibility truly makes this projector offering stand out.
