Australian duo, Lorna Swinstead and Bel Wood, have teamed up and created smart bags. The bags are not just fashionable, they are also equipped to charge practically any mobile phone on the go.

The smart bags are fashioned from grain leather or suede and come with a rechargeable battery, two micro USB cables and a lightning adapter for iPhone users. The battery and cables are hidden away in a compartment inside the bag, while the back of the bag has a slide pocket, which allows for easy charging and storage of mobile devices.

The Lorna & Bel smart bag is currently sold through Australian online retailers at $399 AUD. With the rise of the wearable technology market and the international interest in the smart bag, Lorna & Bel expect to start retailing the products through overseas retailers in the near future.
