The Philips Slimstyle LED Bulbs Are Highly Energy-Efficient

The Philips SlimStyle LED lightbulbs are already prized for being highly energy-efficient and durable despite being affordable, and this reputation is set to grow with the introduction of a new 75-watt LED Equivalent bulb.

The SlimStyle 75-watt equivalent joins the BR30 and 60-watt equivalent as the first consumer LED light bulbs that do away with a heat sink. The heat sink is not required because the bulb has a flat surface that conducts heat away from the LEDs, eliminating the need for a heat sink. This innovative design reduces both the weight and the cost of the bulb.

By using 80% less energy and lasting 25 times longer, the SlimStyle LED lightbulbs are fast making regular incandescent bulbs look old-school and obsolete.

These lightbulbs provide the same omni-directional lighting as traditional 75-watt bulbs, but can save users over $170 in energy-related costs. It is as straightforward to use as any regular lightbulb, but offers a plethora of cost and performance benefits.
