Spotscan+ Coach is a skincare digital coach app and the latest milestone from ustwo, a leading digital product studio harnessing AI to design impactful products that foster positive behavioral change. The app is created in collaboration with L’Oréal for its dermatologist-backed skincare brand, La Roche-Posay. The recently launched Spotscan+ Coach delivers a personalized experience by merging dermatology-backed skincare advice with daily support to help users build effective routines and gain confidence in their skin. Uniquely, it also integrates mental health considerations, framing skincare as part of holistic wellness.

Leading ever aspect of the app's creation, ustwo designed the user experience, interface, and overall aesthetic in alignment with La Roche-Posay’s design language. Defining the coaching program and content strategy to ensure tailored, actionable, and consistently refreshed content for users. Following a six-week beta testing phase, Spotscan+ Coach demonstrated that 90% of beta users reported feeling more motivated to stick to their skincare routines. Additionally, 74% experienced visible improvements in their skin.
