Skims partnered with DoorDash to provide rapid delivery of the brand's apparel directly from its U.S. stores, featuring a catalog of more than 23,000 items that includes shapewear, underwear and loungewear. The service is meant to bring wardrobe essentials and outerwear to customers quickly, with average drop-off times under an hour.
The collaboration makes DoorDash the first on-demand delivery partner for Skims and marks the first time a brand has offered a combined undergarment, everyday clothing and outerwear selection through the platform. Skims inventory is live on DoorDash from 17 physical locations spread across 11 states plus Washington, D.C., with nine additional shops slated to join soon.
For shoppers, same-day access removes a traditional barrier between discovery and wear, letting buyers get last-minute pieces for events or daily life. Fast delivery of a broad apparel range also expands convenience expectations for retail, and it gives Skims a new fulfilment channel tied to immediacy.
