For shotgun owners young and old, why not commemorate the holidays with this fun DIY shotgun Christmas light project using plastic shells?
If you happen to have plastic shells lying around or have ones that are not able to reload, this idea will be a perfect way to add a little festive spirit to one of your favorite pastimes. What is required to complete this project is one string of small Christmas lights, 50 shells of multiple colored 20-12 gauge shells, a hot glue gun, pliers and soap and water.
All that you will need to do is give the collected shells a nice rub down using hot soapy water. Once this is complete, you will need to hot glue the open end of the shells to your string of lights. Pliers may come in handy to ensure that the open part of the shells are glued on tight to the lights. Follow these steps and in no time you will have your very own shotgun Christmas lights!
