Automotive Parts Retail Shops

RONA and AutoShack Debuted Its Shop-In-Shop Auto Parts Sections

RONA and AutoShack introduced a shop-in-shop concept by installing staffed automotive parts sections inside 12 RONA stores across the Greater Toronto and Ottawa areas. The RONA AutoShack rollout started at RONA+ Golden Mile and gradually expanded to locations in Maple, Whitby, Hamilton, London, Windsor, and Ottawa.

Each location is operated by AutoShack staff who assist customers in identifying vehicle-specific parts, featuring a curated selection of in-demand products on the floor and a broader catalog available for in-store ordering and pickup. This format builds on a successful pilot and represents AutoShack's largest physical retail expansion beyond its Kanata flagship.

RONA and AutoShack demonstrate how shop-in-shop partnerships can bring online-first inventory into physical retail without requiring a standalone store investment.
