It has been a particularly rainy summer for cities around the world and so the Shoe Drying Kit couldn't have come at a more opportune time, at least for those residing in the United Kingdom. It involves a newspaper that has been given an absorbent quality, which allows it to soak up moisture before it reaches people's feet. The Shoe Drying Kit was made with cyclists in mind. It is actually common practice for them to stuff newspapers into their shoes and socks as a preventative measure.
A joint effort between Ben Terrett of Newspaper Club and James Grei of Vulpine, the Shoe Drying Kit features some great illustrations since they partnered up with a host of illustrators and designers for the project. People may not want to stuff them down their shoes.
