Vibrant Knitted Sneakers

The Air Jordan 1 Sneakers Got a 'Shattered Backboard' Makeover

The classic Air Jordan 1 Flyknit sneakers are being introduced with a new 'Shattered Backboard' colorway option. This latest piece taps back to an exhibition game that took place in Italy in 1985, marking the time when basketball athlete Michael Jordan dunked the basketball so hard that it broke the backboard glass during the goal. The new Air Jordan 1 Flyknit iteration imitates that visual effect on the low-top silhouette. The shoe sees familiar hues of black, white and orange rounded out with the label's Swoosh branding accents on the sides.

Additional accents include "Nike Air" found on the tongue tabs and the Air Jordan Wings logo found at the heel area. Notably, the Flyknit material completes the entire upper with some leather touches as well.
