Reddit noted that it has not made it a simple process to share posts onto other social media platforms and recently announced that it will be rolling out the updated shared link preview. It will showcase text posts of messaging services and another sharing option for Instagram Stories, as well as a one-tap screenshot-sharing process as well.
The update is a new embedding toolbox that simplifies the embedded tweets into articles or other CMS platforms. Notably, this allows users to show Reddit content on a website but also link it to the post directly as well. This makes the process seamless and functions similarly to the way that sharing works on social media sites and apps.
