Fascinators, I have learned, have their roots in the UK. Thanks to those not content with the old tradition of sporting elaborate hats, these bits of headgear have been spun off into their own genre. The fascinators shown here are a blend of burlesque and pinup styles with a dash of Goth now and then. A few flower and bow hair ornaments are thrown in just to round out the collection.
I am in love with the presentation from ‘Get Go Retro.’ The models are perfect! I can’t think of anyone wanting to emulate those airbrushed beauties of bygone times not wanting to pin, or tie, one of these netted roses or tiny top hats onto her head.
