Strapped Flatpack Furniture

Seats and Stripes by BRAM/STIJN is Vibrantly Raw and Easy to Assemble

The name of the Seats and Stripes might be a nod to patriotism, but the furniture pieces in the collection are incredibly neutral. A flatpack design, they have a raw and rustic aesthetic that is pulled together by the use of vibrant sets of straps that happen to look a lot like seat belts. It is these straps that hold the Seats and Stripes pieces together.

Designed by Bram Burger and Stijn van der Vleuten, the duo behind bram/stijn, the Seats and Stripes collection is easy to assemble. Made up of stools, benches and cabinets, they can easily be personalized by way of a coat of paint or even some wood stain. The collection gives Ikea a run for their money.
