Designers Marco Merendi and Diego Vencato were inspired by the beauty and the iconic appearance of the perfume bottle, composed of a delicate glass bulb, a spritzing cap and occasionally a cord or chain. The balloon-like bodies of the lamps are manufactured with tints of delightful colors, diffusing luminosity through their transparency. The Scent of Light evokes the sense of smell as well as that of sight, even as it perches passively on its shallow dish.
