Heinz's Limited-Edition Sauce Drops Revisit Fleeting Moments of Fame

Heinz is launching six new limited-edition sauce flavors with Sauce Drops and as these flavors become available through select restaurants across the nation, the brand is enlisting the help of familiar faces to make their presence known. William Hung, Bad Luck Brian and Rebecca Black are some of the personalities who will be promoting the Sauce Drops, each of which will represent their own flavor: Bangin’ Brewery Mustard, Yuzu Wasabi and Black Garlic Ranch, respectively.

With its emphasis on scarcity and exclusivity, drop culture has had a profound influence on CPG brands. As Associate Brand Manager Diane Mays Doty said, "Taking a page from the popular ‘drop culture,’ these Sauce Drops allow us to push portfolio boundaries with explorative flavors, while also allowing us to receive real-time fan feedback to inform what we bring to shelves nationwide."
