Westminster Council in London has launched a new service where, should you be caught in dire need of a loo, you can simply text the word TOILET 80097, which instantly sends a text back informing you of the location of the nearest public toilet.
Implications - A 26-year-old student by the name of Gail Knight was the one who came up with the idea and submitted it into a competition that was help by the Westminster Council. Knight explains, "when I’m out with friends, we’re always ducking into McDonalds or department stores to use their loos but we feel a bit bad about it." The smart student says that she thinks this text service would be of great value to people who are always "on the move."
