The Sanrio Character Ranking Awards Cafe Celebrates the Best Cartoons

Have you ever come up with a definitive Sanrio character ranking? Now you don't have to, with the opening of the Sanrio Character Ranking Award Café in Tokyo. The pop-up café was launched to commemorate the Sanrio Character Ranking Award, which is an annual poll that runs every year in order to determine the Japanese cartoon character that comes out on top.

The pop-up café just opened in Harajuku’s Omohara Station and it will feature over 100 Sanrio characters, grouped into five different divisions. Everything at the café from its decor to the food, beverages and merchandise is of course, Sanrio-themed. The pop-up will be open for just a short period of time from June 28th to July 31st this year.
