Life-Saving Coasters

These Drink Coasters Double as a Safety Reflector for Homebound Pedestrians

In an effort to prevent pedestrian deaths in South Africa, this alcohol distributor created drink coasters that act as safety reflector devices. Invented by Edward Snell, the Reflector Protectors are a drink coaster bars can use, but when flipped over become a protective sticker. This dramatically increases the visibility of people walking home from the bar, who are more likely to get hit by cars due to darker driving conditions.

The life-saving beverage coasters have a call to action with directives on one wide, while the other side can be peeled off and stuck to clothing when it's time to leave. Many have already been distributed to many establishments in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with more locations planned in the future.
