The title of the S Moda June 2012 cover shoot focuses on the singular trait of supermodel Cindy Crawford that helped make her a household name. 'Nunca un lunar fue tan rentable: Asi es el mito de cerca,' means 'a mole was never so profitable: that is the myth about' in Spanish. Although giving this bold statement some leeway by suggesting it as a myth, it cannot be denied that as one of the most successful and revered models in the world, Crawford's mole had some part in her accomplishments.
Lensed by London-based Italian photographer Alan Gelati, the S Moda June 2012 cover shoot was styled by fashion editor Francesca Rinciari. Channeling her glamazon good looks, Rinciari plays up Crawford's assets with designs from Mugler, Alexander Wang, Herve Leger and Versace.
