Planta is an innovative restaurant based out of Toronto that caters to plant-based diners, and for the month of December, it is serving a Russian Roulette Pizza that caters to those with a sense of adventure.
The plant-based pizza introduces a thrilling eating experience, as one of the slices contains concealed Thai pepper. In terms of spiciness, Thai peppers are known to have less heat than habaneros, but are more than 20 times hotter than jalapeños.
Knowing that many consumers crave unforgettable experiences centered around food, a number of brands are putting together fun products that play on the risks and rewards of a game of Russian roulette. While Doritos Roulette bags are filled with a few extremely spicy chips, games like Bean Boozled have players take their chances when it comes to sampling either delicious or unsavory jelly bean flavors.
