Michelob ULTRA Launched the 'Run Back the Miracle' Activation

Michelob ULTRA, a prominent light beer brand and official sponsor of the United States Olympic and Paralympic teams, has initiated a multi-faceted promotional campaign centered on national athletic pride and the 'Run Back The Miracle' activation. The latter is an immersive throwback event that recreates a famous historical hockey match.

The 'Run Back the Miracle' experience is built on "high-definition holograms, full-surface ice projection, archival items and never-before-seen footage." Its theme is the ‘Miracle on Ice’ game at the Lake Placid 1980 Olympic Winter Games. This multi-media experience will run on January 15th, at "the site where it all happened, the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid."

Michelob ULTRA's broader marketing initiative also includes formal sponsorships with USA Hockey, partnerships with current Olympians, specially marked product packaging, and a subsequent consumer sweepstakes offering a curated experience in Utah during the upcoming Winter Games.
