Cultural Skate-Centric Collections

Patta and Vans Vault Join Forces to Celebrate Rude Boy Culture

Amsterdam-based brand Patta works in collaboration with Vans Vault on a capsule designed for the Fall/Winter 2020 season celebrating the Jamaican-British rude boy culture. The duo rework the iconic silhouettes by Vans Vault -- the Style 36 VLT LX and the Chukka 79 VLT LX.

The Chukka 79 VLT LX shoes take on a colorway that nods to the Rastafari flag, whereas the Style 36 TC VLT LX sneakers are detailed with a Spectrum Blue colorway nodding to the Union Jack. The slogan "OUT IN THE STREETS" can be seen on the outsole as a nod to reggae artist Ini Kamoze. Both of the shoes are made with a bled of premium suede and ballistic nylon.
