Angled Roof Add-Ons

Kengo Kuma Designs the Royal Terrace Building

The Royal Terrace Building is an add-on to the already existing Garden Terrace Nagasaki hotel, and was completed by the well-known designer Kengo Kuma.

The new addition features an interestingly angled roof, and a timber facade. While the outside is quite unassuming, the inside contains fancy fine-dining restaurants and suites suitable for those looking for an extra bit of luxury. The roof section definitely helps to make this building much more distinct from the rest of the hotel, and also allows it to be noticed from far away. People can even look up and see the top of the building from down below, as the hotel is located on a hill.

This is the ideal spot for people to come for a luxurious evening.
