Rather brilliantly, officials in Chengdu, China, came up with the idea to create a romantic road crossing.
Their aim was to create a romantic atmosphere for the Hejiang Pavilion. Now it, is a good thing the Chinese are so polite because I know what “popular dating sites” are like in the UK and in the US, and they certainly don’t include much romance.
I feel there is method behind the madness; since you can’t miss this sign, I am guessing those that encounter it are most certainly going to obey it.
