Ikea Partners with ROG to Democratize the Gaming Experience

IKEA has once again partnered with Republic of Gamers (ROG), a company specializing in gaming hardware and gear, to introduce a 30-piece furniture and accessories collection intended to "democratize the gaming experience."

The collection was unveiled during the '24 hour IKEA Festival' by beloved gamer Sandra Österlund, who gave viewers a tour of her home where she showcased different items belonging to the collaboration. As a whole, the collection is quite wide-ranging, presenting furniture items including gaming desks, chairs, and storage and a variety of accessories such as mug holders, mouse bungees, neck pillows, ring lights, and more.

Together, IKEA and ROG set out to create a line of highly functional and affordable gaming solutions that make it easier -- and cheaper -- for customers to create their ideal gaming set up. “We know a lot about gamer needs, pain points, and expectations, and we want to design solutions for ultimate, immersive gaming experiences,” says Johnny Chan, designer at Republic of Gamers.
