For those who are worried that their furry friend might be lonely at home, French company CamToy offers a solution with a high-tech robotic companion. Referred to as 'Laika,' the innovation is "part toy, part robot and part pet camera."

The tech age has certainly unlocked some possibilities. The robotic companion has a cylindrical shape and wheels, allowing it to chase and play with one's dog when the owner is out. In addition, individuals can see what their furry friends are doing through the integrated camera. Last but not least, similar to other products on the market, Laika can dispense treats.

CamToy's robotic companion is debuted at CES 2019 in Las Vegas. The price is set to be $460 USD, however, individuals can currently invest in Laika on IndieGoGo with just $325 USD.
