Innovating the world of e-retail, The North Face has collaborated with IBM Watson to create the XPS software that guides consumers through the online experience of shopping for outerwear.
With a cognitive robot that learns as users converse with it, the robot shopping assistant is able to choose between different coats and jackets based on the sports the user is interested in, the words they use to describe their style and their expressed opinions on suggestions offered.
