Robot-Café Ice Dispensers

Korea Nakajo Links ICEVAN B Nugget Ice to Robot Drink Orders

Korea Nakajo has expanded its automated beverage service with the ‘ICEVAN B’ nugget ice dispensers, designed for self-service, unmanned and robot café operators. The units integrate with coffee machines and other automated equipment so ice is included in the same machine-run drink order.

The line includes a ‘1540BUT3’ version for unmanned systems, capable of producing up to 150 kg of ice per day. Across the B series, Korea Nakajo also includes self-diagnostics and an automated cleaning system that manages water flow on its own, reducing manual servicing. The dispensers are already in robot and unmanned cafés in Korea.

Korea Nakajo shows how North America, among the export markets, can broaden the product’s relevance beyond Korea’s café installations and offer automated-venue buyers a dispenser built to work within the drink line, while the machine-to-machine link turns ice from a separate utility into part of the café’s automation stack.
