Ringo by M.R. Horhager is an animated film about a child with a terrible affliction. A creepy tale to tell around a campfire, the second part of its title is much more informative, "The Story of a Couple who Tried to Revitalize Their Relationship but Instead Ruined a Child." It begins with a man and his wife struggling to bear a child, but suddenly a miracle happens and they get Ringo.
Although Ringo by M.R. Horhager is a creepy story that can give even the bravest child nightmares, it is hot on the heels of some equally disturbing films such as Frankenweenie and ParaNorman. This film shows that children can not only grasp the concept of death, but can be told about it in a way that speaks to them.
