One of the pain points for restaurant customers is the experience surrounding payment, which is why restaurant chain Wagamama took it upon itself to create a cashless experience. Instead of requiring diners to flag down their server to get the bill, patrons of Wagamama are able to use MasterCard MasterPass technology to pay and leave at their leisure.

Designed to do away with servers when it comes to managing money to increase efficiency and time savings, the Wagamama system also allows multiple guests to split bills and leave when they're ready to. Focused on working with consumer lifestyles rather than against them, restaurant chain Wagamama is setting a precedent that could permeate other QSRs in the near future.
