1920s-Inspired Resort Collections

Salvatore Ferragamo Presents Its Resort 2027 Collection

Salvatore Ferragamo has presented its Resort 2027 collection, which was designed by Maximilian Davis. This capsule continues the creative director's ongoing exploration of the brand's origins in the 1920s while introducing a fresh emphasis on casual daywear that expands upon his previous focus on the more glamorous aspects of the era.

The Resort 2027 collection translates the visual languages of Surrealism and Cubism into intricate patchworks of color and texture. Maximilian Davis employed techniques such as gold lamé applied to dropped-waist chiffon dresses, washed georgette inset with transparent crêpe and embroidered stitch lines, and knife pleat plissé that disrupts traditional scarf prints. Sportswear influences from the period are evident in accent details like contrast borders on tailored pieces and leather trim on nylon windbreakers, while menswear silhouettes are simultaneously reframed through a classic lens.
