The Renault 4L transformed in honor of the vehicle's 60th anniversary. Mathieu Lehanneur, a French designer, transformed the iconic 1960s car into a luxury travel vehicle. It includes a lounge space in the car's back seats.
Renault tasked the French designer to devise a concept car that showcased his vision for the 4L. Lehanneur came up with a panoramic resting space. The revamped car replaced the rear paneling with panoramic windows that cover the vehicle's sides and roof. While the windows look like architectural glass, they are, in fact, made of transparent polycarbonate. The goal was to create a room in the boot that offers the lounger an endless array of views as they travel.
